Approach to Teaching & Learning

The teaching environment should connect conceptual understanding with analysis, application and independent learning.

Conceptual Foundations

Build clear understanding of core management concepts, theories and analytical frameworks before moving to application.

Contextual Application

Relate management ideas to Nigerian organisational realities and, where relevant, military and public-sector institutional contexts.

Research-Informed Learning

Use current scholarship, structured reading and research questions to strengthen students’ analytical and academic capabilities.

Guided Independent Study

Provide organised study packs, revision questions and learning resources that help students prepare beyond the classroom.

Controlled Student Resource Area

The website architecture reserves a secure pathway for lecture notes and other course resources. The intended access model is student authentication using approved credentials, with course materials kept outside the public GitHub repository. The first protected resource will be the BUA 405 Employee Relations study pack for the 2026/2027 academic session. Additional courses can be added later without redesigning this public page.
