Academic Profile
I am a Management scholar at Nigerian Army University Biu, Nigeria. My academic work spans human resource management, organisational behaviour, performance management, strategic performance management and institutional effectiveness.
Building on this foundation, my current research programme focuses particularly on Military Performance Management (MPM)—its conceptual and theoretical foundations and its application to military and defence institutions. My work examines how the performance of military personnel, units and institutions connects with organisational effectiveness, military capability, accountability and the achievement of strategic defence objectives.
My broader scholarly interest is in understanding how management systems, people, leadership, organisational arrangements and performance processes can strengthen institutional capability and improve strategic outcomes. This provides a basis for engagement across conventional management scholarship, public-sector institutions, defence and security organisations, and interdisciplinary research environments.

Distinctive Research Programme
Military Performance Management represents the distinctive strand of my current scholarship. The programme seeks to develop a coherent management-based understanding of how individual military performance connects with unit performance, institutional performance and effectiveness, military capability and strategic defence performance.
The programme provides a platform for conceptual development, empirical research, comparative studies, policy engagement, professional and executive education, institutional capacity development and national and international scholarly collaboration.
